When I first started working with Courtney, my working history had been primarily with male supervisors and leadership and I did not understand the importance of female leadership coaching as a woman myself. From my first meeting with Courtney, I remember thinking to myself, “THIS is what I’ve been missing and I didn’t even know it.” Working with Courtney opened my eyes to how significant female career mentorship is to female success. One of my biggest takeaways from our coaching has been the importance of marketing to my existing customers. I’ve been so focused on reaching 100% capacity at Lusso Suites that I hadn’t fully prioritized retention marketing. Since then, I’ve taken steps to survey my team and current suite owners to better understand their needs and identify pain points that may be quick wins for improving retention. This process has been incredibly eye-opening and has helped me gain deeper insight into what matters most to my ideal client. As a result, I’ve shifted my focus as a suite owner to closing the gap in our online service directory for new clients and building stronger relationships with our current business owners.
