Meet the Team
MaKenna is the glue that holds the Proximo team together. She effortlessly manages internal operations across multiple departments, fiercely protecting our mission and vision. Don’t let her youthful face and flawless skin fool you...She is wise beyond her years. Her experience, expertise and strategic artistry make her a favorite among our clients, and she’s always willing to go above and beyond to ensure their happiness and success. MaKenna almost always has an iced coffee in hand, loves her essential oils diffuser, and listening to her favorite Native American music playlist. When not on the job, you’re most likely to find her on the beach, loving on her dogs, catching some live music, running to Chick-fil-a or shopping at TJ Maxx.

Olivia is our administrative powerhouse, keeping all wheels well-greased on the machine that is Proximo. Whether she’s managing client appointments, coordinating upcoming team events, or mapping production schedules for our visual arts team, Olivia’s attention to detail and thoughtful perspectives keep everything “behind the curtain” organized and on track to exceed customer expectations. Her faves include cold brew coffee, long walks outside, and power up snacks that keep her trucking through the workday. She’s an avid reader and musician (she plays the piano!) and when not on the job, she’s most likely hanging with her husband, Jayson, and her cats, Marley and Orzo-Thor.

Senior Creative Specialist
Simply put, Emily is the wizard of all things written at Proximo. She brings an extensive background in technical writing, artistic development and content marketing to our team, and specializes in connecting with each client’s unique voice to bring authenticity to their branding design and marketing strategies. With a good Spotify playlist (must include oldies) and a fresh cup of dandelion tea, Emily can happily write for hours. But when she’s not writing for our awesome clients, she can be found… still writing. Emily is working on her first youth fantasy series, using her 12 year old daughter/sidekick as the perfect test subject.

Proximo’s newest addition, Cheyenne, comes to us with extensive experience in community-based marketing, and will be applying her creative talents and experience to our visual arts department, with a special focus on her love for video and production. Her gifts extend into creative writing and content development, and developing organic social conversation that drives curiosity and chatter online. A true artist, Cheyenne loves to read, write, sing, act and create. While her childhood dream of becoming a rockstar has not (yet!) come to pass, she is thrilled to contribute ideas and design that help others accomplish their passions. Her favorite movie is Life is Beautiful, and her favorite cuddle up companion is her Shih Tzu, Cookie.

Our clutch player who is always willing to lend a helping hand, “Gabie” brings an incredible work ethic along with her vast array of talents and skills to our team. Not only is she the magic behind Proximo’s own social media, but she often pops up and contributes to client social campaigns, email marketing and graphic design. Studying Marketing at VCU, she is slated to grow her career with Proximo into a full-time adventure (yes, we mean adventure!) after graduation. A master at time management, she effortlessly balances school and work, and still manages to prioritize family and friends, and a few Netflix binges here and there in the busyness.
